Di concorsi sulla birra ce ne sono davvero tanti nel mondo. La Brussels Beer Challenge è però la prima competizione di “professional beer” organizzata in Belgio

Creata da Becomev (Beer Communications & Events) sotto la guida di Luc De Raedemaeker e Thomas Costenoble nel 2012, la prima edizione del Brussels Beer Challenge si svolse a La Bourse a Bruxelles.
Da allora, l’evento si è spostato regolarmente all’interno della nazione belga e si è espanso fino a diventare un contest molto apprezzato nel mondo.
La IX^ Brussels Beer Challenge si è tenuta quest’anno nuovamente a Bruxelles (era prevista ad Hasselt) dal 30 ottobre al 5 novembre.
Cambio di sede per motivi legati all’emergenza sanitaria e anche una giuria giocoforza ridotta a giudici principalmente residenti in Belgio. Nel complesso, comunque, 35 giurati da 9 Stati.
