Arrivano etichette da oltre 50 Paesi del mondo all’International Wine Challenge (IWC), una fra le più note competizioni internazionali.

L’edizione 2022 dell’IWC, che già aveva annunciato i riconoscimenti principali, si è chiusa all’Hurlingham Club di Londra con la cerimonia di proclamazione dei Champion Trophy results, i premi assoluti per i prodotti in gara fra vini e sake.
Nell’assoluto, sono stati 19 i “trophy” assegnati fra vino e sake più 5 per gli “winemaker” più bravi.
Riconoscimenti all’Italia, sono arrivati dal Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Finest 2019 Codice Citra (distribuito da Tesco) con l’IWC Great Value Champion Red 2022 per l’ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo e, ancora una volta, per Tenuta di Capezzana e suo il Vinsanto di Carmignano Riserva 2014 che ha vinto il Champion Sweet Wine 2022 – Alois Kracher Trophy.
Il Vinsanto riserva 2014 di Tenuta di Capezzana, oltre al riconoscimento globale, si è conquistato anche il titolo di miglior vino dolce italiano (Italian Sweet Trophy), condividendo la passerella nazionale con il Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze 2021 Col Vetoraz (Prosecco Trophy) e il Cannonau Di Sardegna 2020 Antonella Corda (Italian Red Trophy).
